UB: UB_Secure Wireless
Learn how to connect securely to UB’s Wireless network. It does need some configuration for it to run properly.
Go to Manage Wireless Networks
Select Manually create a network profile
Network name: UB_Secure
Security type: WPA2-Enterprise
Encryption type: AES
Click Change connection settings
Select Security tab
Choose a network authentication method: Microsoft: Protected EAP (PEAP)
Click Settings beside PEAP.
Check Validate server certification
Check Entrust.net Secure Certification Authority
Click Configure beside Secured password (EAP-MSCHAP v2)
Uncheck Automatically use my Windows logon name and password (and domain if any)
Click OK Click OK Click OK.
When you try to connect to UB_Secure, this should pop up. Enter your UBIT Username & Password.
Go to http://ubit.buffalo.edu/ubwireless/index.php for other devices.
